Whether we breathe it or eat it, it is inevitable that we may
carry these toxins around in our bodies.
Most of us are super busy and work really hard, right?

I know I am not the only one out there! Are you experiencing mental fatigue, more than usual body aches and the dreaded bloating?
You need to feel good to perform good.
Well..there are healthy alternatives to other stimulants we may be indulging in…ones that will improve our mental status, along with other awesome benefits!

Some signs of a toxic overload are..
Does that grab your attention? It should! I will give you some recipes for some Detox Drinks that can get you started on getting rid of some of those unwanted symptoms. We will get to those easy to make Detox Drink Recipes in a minute.
When you think of body detox drinks, you might think it requires special ingredients, but it doesn’t. These are generally items you and I already have at home such as lemons, apple cider vinegar, cucumbers and watermelon.
According to a study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine, the use of clinical detoxification therapies were commonly used by 75% of the Naturopathic Doctors surveyed.
They use them to treat patients with environmental exposures, general cleaning, preventative medicine, gastrointestinal disorders and autoimmune diseases.
The good news for you and me is that unless you have major health concerns or are pregnant, you can detoxify your body without a doctor with Detox Drinks that are easy to make. If in doubt, always contact your Healthcare Provider.
Anybody can benefit from a cleansing. The body is coming out of what might be called hibernation. It’s a way to recharge, rejuvenate, and renew.

If you have been a student or someone who constantly has to come up with creative content, for any amount of time, then I am sure you have experienced the dreaded Writer’s Block Blues! You sit, stare, and stare some more at the blank screen with not one thought or idea on what to type, or even where to start!
Usually when writer’s block happens, a state of anxiety overcomes the body. The more you look at the blank screen, the more frustrated you become. Some stress is helpful in completing a challenging writing project with deadlines, but too much of it can do the exact opposite. Anxiety can sometimes be triggered by writer’s block, which only leads to more blank pages and procrastination. I could tell you a number of times when this has happened to me over the years as college student! Now, as a more seasoned writer, I would love to share some things that I have learned a long the way that have really helped me overcome this madness!
According to the Writing Center at University of Carolina, people are not born anxious writers, but become anxious as a result of negative or difficult writing experiences in the past. A writing task can be simple for one person, but cause major meltdowns for another, according to the Writing Center. Before throwing your computer out the window, try these simple tips to get your creative juices flowing. They have worked many times for me.
The best thing you can do is to just start typing! Write down or type anything, even if it unrelated to your topic. Type a short story or type about the activities you performed that day, a breakup you had with an ex, your dog, or how your roommate has not bought toilet paper for six months! You get the idea!
Another way to get words down on that screen is to first get some exercise. Writer’s block generally evokes an anxious state of mind, and according to medical studies, exercise is a great way to release endorphin’s in the brain, which counteracts stress and anxiety. Yoga is an interactive way to exercise and improve focus that I have done and works great! Even if you cannot get out to a Yoga class, there are tons of YouTube videos to check out. Another relaxing place to do yoga or exercise is at the beach. I take things that I find around the beach, such as rocks and seaweed and incorporate them into my workout. Yes, that’s right, I get creative! Grab a few rocks and use them as weights for sit ups, squats, lunges, and strengthening. Seaweed is a great tool to use as a jump rope. Looking for treasures on the beach is also a great anxiety reducer! I guarantee that after a few downward dogs and squats, you will hit that blank page with gusto!
Something else you can do if you cannot think of anything to write is to just walk away from the task at hand. Maybe take a walk around the block or beach, step outside of the college library, home office, or building for some different scenery. If you have enough time before your deadline, distract yourself completely by getting into another activity altogether. Adult coloring books are a hot trend now! Why not? After awhile, come back to your writing project and see how fast you can type all the profound ideas that blossomed!
Another way I fight Writer’s Block, that I now do on a regular basis, is go to a coffee shop, or anywhere else that has WiFi ,coffee, and food! Pack up your computer or pen and paper, and head out the door! Changing your current scenery when in a writing funk can spur on some new ideas.
This may seem like a no brainer, but eating something healthy before you start your writing project will give your body and brain the energy it needs to think!
Another way to completely detach from the writing project at hand, is to take a hike. Where I live, in Santa Barbara, there are numerous hiking trails to catch some stellar views. I am sure you can find a great place to hike or walk in your city or town. Funny how just some fresh air can declutter your mind and bring forth renewed passion for a writing project.
Of coarse, I always make sure I am wearing comfortable and pretty clothing and make sure I am not slacking on my self care routines. I find that if I feel great and take those few extra minutes to put myself together, I will have better results with any project I am tackling. Wouldn’t you agree? Recoop will be carrying an Eco-friendly clothing line in the near future that I know you will love to keep you calm, cool, and collected wherever you find yourself behind that computer! In the meantime, you can pick up some comfortable eco-friendly clothing from one of their affiliates, Lux and Eco , at the bottom portion of their websites homepage.to feel fantastic! You can also stay connected with Recoop through Facebook and Instagram to keep you inspired, or sign up below for weekly articles to keep your busy life inspired and at the top of your game.
I hope that you can use these tips that I have learned along the way to make your next writing experience a piece of cake! Happy writing!
